Ingredients:
1 ½ cups all- purpose Flour, 1 teaspoon salt, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1
¾ teaspoons double-acting baking powder, 1 0r 2 eggs, 3 tablespoons butter, 1 to 1
¼ cups milk and choice of blue berries, chocolate chips, M+M's, etc.
Sift before measuring : 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
Resift with: 1 teaspoon salt, 3 tablespoons sugar, 1 ¾
teaspoons double-acting baking powder
Combine: 1 or 2 slightly beaten whole eggs, 3 tablespoons melted
butter and 1 to 1 ¼ cups milk

Mix the liquid ingredients quickly into the dry
ingredients. Put griddle on medium heat. Put oil or butter on griddle. Test
griddle by putting a few drops of cold water on it. If they sputter and bounce
the griddle is ready. Place liquid pancake mix on the griddle with a large
spoon. When firm and light brown on the bottom turn over. Brown other side and
serve. For fun, add blueberries, chocolate chips or m&ms, etc.
After I tried the pancakes I figured that my mom's or as
you would say "doctormom's" (even though she really isn't a doctor)
pancakes are much better so here's her recipe:
1 ¼ to 1 ½ cups unbleached white flour
1 Tbs. sugar
¼ tsp. salt
1 Tbs. baking powder (don't forget this part like doctordad
did).
3 eggs, separated
2 cups milk
¼ cup melted butter
Sift the dry ingredients into a mixing bowl. Beat the
egg yolks with the milk and melted butter, and stir into flour. Beat the egg
whites until they are fluffy, but not dry, and fold them into the
batter.
Heat a large skillet or griddle and oil it lightly.
Drop the pancake batter on by large spoonfuls and brown nicely on both sides.
Serve immediately with butter, syrup or honey, jelly, yogurt, or
whatever. Fresh fruit and yogurt are especially recommended for a festive and satisfying
breakfast.
This recipe serves 3 to 4.

Ingredients: 6 slices of challa (bread), 2 or 3
eggs, margarine, (butter or Pam tm) milk and vanilla
extract.
Tools: spatula, 1 teaspoon, tablespoon, cooking
pan, bread knife and fork.
First crack the eggs into a two cup bowl, add ½ teaspoon of vanilla extract and 2 tablespoons of milk. Use the fork to mix it
up, mix well. Now put the stove to a low/medium flame grease the pan with the
butter, margarine or whatever you may use. Slice the bread into 6 slices, one
by one soak the slices in the egg mix. After soaked put them in the pan. Use
the spatula to check the underside of the slice. Once the bottom is golden
brown flip the slice over. When the other side is done put it on the serving
plate do this on all of the slices. Top with sugar and you've got a great
breakfast.
First, put the stove on medium to high. Then, get a piece of bread. Put a
small hole as big as the egg's yolk in the bread. (This can be done using a small cup or
glass, press the open end of the cup on the bread as you would use a cookie
cutter.)
Put butter on one side of the bread. Then put butter on the pan. When the pan
gets hot enough, put the bread on it. Then put the egg on the bread, with the
yolk in the middle.
Put the temperature down to medium. Cook until done, about
2-5 minutes a side. If you want a soft inside, do not let the yolk break.
If
you want a hard inside, break the yolk shortly after you put the egg
onto the bread. Let cool for 1-2 minutes, and there's your rocky mountain
toast.
