The Fact Page Two decades ago Jean-Paul Gaultier hoped that by the year 2001 we would have close you could spray on and at the end of the day you could peel of the latex suit and throw it in the trash. Now her wish came true you just paint on the latex and at the end of the day you can throw it away. The Russians have a space station called the Mir. The Russians can not afford to keep it going in space so they are planning to bring it down. They will bring it down in February...into the Atlantic Ocean! So in February make sure the space station doesn't accidentally land on you!
September 15th: If you cover your right nostril and breath through the left nostril then cover your left nostril and breath through the left you will find out that 1 of your nostrils breaths clearer than the other. That is because there is tissue in one of your nostrils that allows you to smell something different then the other nostril. There for both of the nostrils smell something different. If you do the "nosearoebics" several hours later you will find that the nostrils will have switched their positions. September 7th: Unfortunately I didn't get to change the fact this week or last week so here's a joke from Dexter's laboratory instead: The professor and his assistant were making sercapher hidraxuline and the assistant said what if the sercapher doesn't accept the hidraxuline and the professor said that's no hidraxuline that's my wife! LOL (if you don't now what lol means go to e-mail quickies) August 2000 Week of the 13th: Did you now that when rower Vyacheslav Ivenov of Wendouree won the gold medal of the men's single sculls event and it was placed around his neck he was jumping up and down so much it fell in the lake. He dived strait into the lake after it. After searching for it on the bottom for a long time he came up. Luckily the Olympic Committee was very nice and gave him another one. August 2000 Week of the 6th: Squirrels store seeds and nuts in the summer and fall for when it's hard to find them in the winter. They do need to hide the food so they put it in holes in trees, hollow logs or bury it. The different kinds of squirrels like different kinds of nuts and seeds. The Red squirrels like the seeds that are inside pinecones and fox squirrels and gray squirrels like hickory nuts, acorns and beechnuts. When it's the squirrel's time to eat they have to sniff around to find the food they buried, put in hollow logs or the holes in trees.
July 2000 Week of the 23rd: Someday Australians mite be relaxing on their commute between work and home instead of fighting rush hour traffic. It is a car called Austrans that does it. It goes on something like a train track, no one needs to drive and it holds nine people. It will glide smoothly and quietly along the tracks.
July 2000 Week of the 17th: There is a new swimsuit called the Fastskin. It can boost a racer's speed by more than half a second every hundred meters. It has tiny ridges covering it like the ones on sharks. When the swimmers move through the water the ridges make the water go away from the body.
2000: The Ford Motor Company recently started working on a new computerized dashboard. It can be personalized for each driver. It works like a big projector screen, and drivers program them like computer screens. They can choose different backgrounds and even add family photos. You can do anything as long as there's a speedometer. The drivers can also watch movies but only when the car isn't moving. So soon the cars will be really cool and still stay as safe as they are now!
