Math Tricks

Try these on your friends.

Take a four digit number where each digit is different. Write it down. Now write down the same digits in reverse order. Subtract the smaller number from the larger one. Add the answer's digits together. 

If the sum is greater than 10, add the digits together again. 

The result (if you did the math right ) is 9.

Try it yourself, remember the four digit number must have four different digits. For younger friends, this math trick works for 3 and 2 digit numbers too!

Now try this one:

Take your age.  Add 5. Multiply by 2. Add 1. 

Then take the result and  multiply by 2 again. Then add 2 more.  

Now divide by 4.  

Finally,  SUBTRACT your age from the result. 

Your answer is six.

One more:

Pick a number from one to 10. Multiply by nine and  write down the answer. Reverse the digits. Subtract the smaller from the larger. Add the digits together. 

Finally, Subtract 4 and then multiply by 20. 

Your answer is 100.
