Hi, my
name is Michele and this is my
cooking page on Doctordad.com. I am Jane's sister and of course my dad is a
doctor. I love to bake and decided to share with you my favorite recipes.
Your bones are very special. They support your body
and protect your important body parts. Chocolate chip cookies are great with
milk and milk is great for your bones. And here is how to make them :
ingredients : For about 5 dozen cookies.
2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips and 1 cup chopped nuts (optional)
2 sticks butter, softened
2 cups flour
¾ cup sugar
¾ cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 eggs
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt
Preheated oven to 375º F.
COMBINE the flour, baking soda and salt in a
small bowl. Beat the butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in
large mixer bowl until creamy.
Add the eggs one at a time (beating well after each
addition), gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in chocolate chips (and
optional nuts).
Drop rounded table spoons onto baking sheets (no grease needed).
BAKE in
preheated oven until golden brown (9 to 11 minutes). Cool
on baking sheets for 2 minutes, then place on wire cooling rack.

` Ants on a log are great fun to eat.
Ingredients: Celery sticks cut into six inch lengths, peanut butter, and
raisins.
Take the sticks and fill them (the concave side) with
peanut butter. Then place the ants (raisins) on the logs (celery-peanut
butter sticks.) Then eat the ants on the logs. M&Ms make good bugs on a
log too.
Most kids
love decorating stuff. When there
are many kids at home, give each kid their own cupcake to decorate.
